A little bit about me

Hello so before I begin I would like to say this bio may be untraditional but just hear me out deal? My name is Azuree’ I am 26 I am the oldest daughter of my family so I had a very hands on role with raising my (2) younger siblings and there’s about a 10+yr age gap for reference aside from that I nanny on a regular basis for my close friends/family actually as I’m typing this I’m currently aunty sharking for 4 kids all under 3 yrs old and we just has a balloon fight I am aware that my bio is somewhat not as professional as you may find but when I think of a nanny I think of someone who will take care of my kids but that the kids will actually like being around being as though we will be around eachother for long periods of time so I’m hoping my bubbly energetic personality is seeping through this a bit. As for comfortability I have been a nanny for a variety of ages ranging from newborn to teenager I’m comfortable with feeding,changing,swaddling,activities etc I hope I can assist

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Most of my experience is volunteer childcare being as though I don’t yet have any children of my own I’m the go to for all of my friends and family when watching their little ones

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts, balloon fights(you would be surprised at how excited kids get over balloons especially toddlers and it tires them out), coloring, I recently started getting into sensory games as well I would label myself as an outside the box type of nanny I’m very good at making fun

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is to make sure the children you are taking care of see you as both someone they should respect but also can come to for enjoyment. I’m not the nanny that will just let the kids do whatever as all kids need some form of structure however if they are fed, changed, homework is done and you just so happen to call and hear us having a pillow fight or a balloon fight, or water guns , or possibly animal crackers just go ahead and make a pit stop on your way home and get yourself a milkshake so I have time to clean up I promise I won’t leave it a mess but as an experienced aunty I have now gathered the house will never be clean 24/7 it’s a myth but instead you tidy up after meals and deep clean when they’re down for bed

My experience with special needs children...

I do have experience with caring for autistic children but I’m not too experienced with special needs however if it’s something that can be taught with your guidance I can get it down and I’m open to having lots of communication

The most important part about being a nanny...

To be honest I don’t really have a favorite moment my nieces and nephews just keep me on my toes for example today my niece said and I quote “Azuree why is your stomach big” she comes from a family of 4 siblings all under 3 so she immediately thought I was expecting mind you I thought I was doing decent with my weight loss journey but she has now showed me I am in fact not and I just responded with “aunty needs to lose weight” lol but was really in disbelief because she seemed genuinely concerned
