The most important part about being a nanny...

Is bringing joy and happiness in a safe manner (and hopefully learning as well) to the little ones. I love children, and have to say that they have brought me so much joy over the years, and I still get excited when I know I get to spend the day with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have many favorite moments, but, I guess my most memorable one would be the time I just started nannying for a family for a couple of weeks (I actually worked with them for 10 years) and the four year old boy, Jimmy, heard his dad's car in the garage he immediately burst into tears, and could not be consoled. His dad ran in the house, and said,"What is wrong with Jimmy??? What happened??" I was perplexed, and told him I had no idea why he is crying. It was then that Jimmy exclaimed between tears that he was mad that his dad was home, and didn't want me to leave. Love that kid!!
