A little bit about me

Hi! I am Bella Valdez I am a college graduate of Park University. I majored in Psychology and have a passion to find my career with children. I work for the City of Scottsdale part-time with the after-school program for children's kinder-5th grade. I just finished a job that worked with children with autism from a company called SARRC. I was working towards being a behavioral therapist for a short amount of time but needed to focus on other aspects of my life. I am hard-working and empathetic. My hard-working part comes from college work but also from college volleyball. I am someone who likes to do the best I can in anything that gets handed to me. I take pride in the person I am and will do anything to make lives easier and to be as helpful as possible.

I was a teacher's aid, I work at an after-school program, and babysat for 4 years. I also did an internship as a counselor with children as well.

I love going outdoors riding bikes etc. Drawing and coloring is always fun!

My experience with special needs children...

It is small but for a few months I worked a Southwest Autism Resources and Researcher center and learned so much about how to interact and work with children with autism. I did a two week training there and i have learned a lot in the short amount of time.
