I pursued a career in caregiving and worked with Caregivers America, where I provided support to both children and adults. In addition, I gained experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, assisting children with disabilities in developing essential life skills and learning to perform daily activities independently. These roles strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to provide compassionate, individualized care.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny goes beyond caring for children’s daily needs. It’s about being someone they can trust—someone who listens, supports, and uplifts them when they want to talk or need reassurance. A nanny may begin as a stranger, but through genuine care, consistency, and love, you become a trusted part of their world. Building a strong, family-like bond with the children is what makes the role truly meaningful and impactful.
My experience with special needs children...
Working with children with special needs was challenging at first, but it quickly became one of the most meaningful parts of my work. Growing up with a sister who has a disability, I saw how difficult it was for my family to find support early on, and how my mother had to navigate those challenges on her own. That experience inspired my passion for helping other children and families.
Through my professional experience, I’ve learned that children with special needs are no different from any other child—they all deserve the same love, patience, care, and encouragement. Supporting their growth and confidence is something I truly enjoy and take pride in.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was building cozy forts with the children from the Marsico Family and spending time reading Christmas stories together underneath. It was a simple but special experience that highlighted the joy of creating fun, meaningful moments while encouraging imagination, bonding, and a love for reading.
