A little bit about me

hey, my name is bentley! i could not imagine having a job not involving children. i have about 5 years of experience. i started date night babysitting in high school, then working at daycare facilities, and now i’ve been nannying for the past 2 years while in nursing school. I am infant/child CPR and first aid certified, i also have my basic life saving certification from school. most of my experience is with infants 6 weeks-6 months. as i worked in the infant rooms at the daycare and most of my nannying experience is for infants. however i have also held positions with toddlers and families with multiple children. I am currently pregnant with my first, due in december. I am looking for a position i can start now and will be able to take a maternity leave, or a position i can start mid jan when i get off maternity leave. I was also hoping to bring my daughter along with! i think it would be great to watch a child around her age, or older as well! i can also provide great references 🩷

i’m currently a nanny for a family. i have been watching their daughter since she was 6 weeks she is now almost a year old! i have also held other nannying positions as well as working at daycares.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I think outside time is great! especially going on walks. After working at the day care I was really about to learn a lot more about children, especially that they thrive outside. I also was able to see how much fun they had doing simple things like dance parties. I also think the occasional hand print craft is always needed!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is making sure the child feels safe and is safe. The last thing I would want is for a child to not feel safe or dread being around me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My all time favorite thing to hear as a nanny is " don't go home, stay" I have heard it more than a couple of times. It really makes me feel like I am accomplishing my job to the best of my ability.
