The most important part about being a nanny...
Once, I was watching a very high energy toddler and she also had separation anxiety. The first time I watched her was rough to say the least, more so on her behalf. She cried for a good 15 minutes before I decided to try baking some cookies with her. Long story short I wound up spilling flower everywhere 🤦♀️ but to my delight, it made her laugh and laugh. We wound up just playing in the flour ,drawing pictures, building mounds, etc. We bonded over "the spilt milk" and she loved coming over after that
