Previously, I have worked as a volunteer at the Lyons library, and as an instructor at Mathnasium, both of which have given me experience working with children. At the Lyons library, I helped plan and execute events such as Lego night, and author visits, which taught me how to create and organize fun activities that kids actually enjoy. I have also worked more directly with kids at Mathnasium where I was a math tutor for middle and elementary school-aged children. In my opinion, almost nothing is as difficult as trying to get tired middle schoolers to do math after the school day has ended, but it gave me important and necessary childcare skills. I know how to get kids to listen to me, even if they're being difficult or having a rough day, and I also have practice with helping multiple kids at once. Overall, I love working with children, and I would be an excellent nanny!

Throughout my 7 years in SVVSD, I moved through the various positions and landed at the top as a community schools director. I strived to create a program where students and parents felt safe. By developing a curriculum that was fit for all age groups, students were encouraged to work together on various STEM based activities as well and social and emotional activities. I believe every kiddo is unique in their own ways and deserves someone who sees that in them. I would love to find a family with school aged kiddos and a little who is still at home or in pre-schools. I love coming home to a clean house and know the families I’ve worked for previously did too.
