She set up picnics in the park, brought him to open gym-time, music class and Academy of Sciences often. I was always confident that he was stimulated and never bored. She worked with us on his developmental milestones and was a key component to our son taking to solid foods so quickly. She always respected our parenting styles and never questioned or undermined us. I always knew she was caring for him in alignment with my husband and I. She is dependable, prompt and flexible. "Betty has been caring for our youngest daughter since she was 4 months old. She is a great collaborative partner; she happily shares her observations and ideas with us, but always ultimately defers to us as the parents on schedules, etc. She is incredibly proactive and communicative. Her first priority is always childcare, but as nap times allow she helps with the kids’ laundry, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and light tidying around the house - she is always asking what she can do to help. She is engaged with our daughter - playing with her on the floor, taking her to the playground and music class, etc. She is CPR certified and was with us through both sleep training and baby led weaning. Although she has been primarily responsible for our youngest, our 3-year-old also adores her.
