A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Bianka and for a long time I've wanted to babysitt/ nanny. I'm 18 years old and I'm currently majoring in early childhood education. Although I first started taking high school CTE (Career and technical education) in criminal justice, I quickly realized I made mistake in choosing that course. I couldn't change my study to child development so I studied criminal justice for four years but through that course I was able to get CPR certified. Even though this wouldn't be my first job, it would be my first job taking care of children. I've had the same job since I was 16 at a retail store so I have no prior experience working with children but I do have two amazing baby cousins (age 4 & 5) that I've baby sat for many times since they were born. I was looking for a job that would be flexible with my hours as a new college student but also help me gain experience caring for children since I will be pursuing a teaching career after graduation and intend on teaching grades K-5.
