More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Through college, I have done field work at 4 different high schools and elementary schools. After graduation, I held a long term subbing position at an Elementary school. I also have experience with coaching young athletes of all ages.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love making all activities fun and exciting. I believe it is very important for children to learn skills to help around the house. Making those skills enjoyable can help children enjoy doing those skills such as practicing sweeping and cleaning up after themselves. I think it is important for children to spend time outdoors such as walks, playing in the yard, and practicing basic development skills such as throwing and kicking appropriate objects. As long as children create a confident mindset, I feel satisfied!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the number one thing that is important is trust and honesty. I strive for families and children to have trust in me so that everyone feels comfortable and all are on the same page.
My experience with special needs children...
In college, I have worked with a program called “Kids in Action.” This program focused on the physical activity of children with different intellectual disabilities. I have also taken an adapted physical activity class that involved learning about different disabilities and applying my knowledge when working with young clients in activities throughout the class.

I’m turning 19 next month! I have babysat for cousins for as long as I can remember. They are ages 2, 6, 11. I’ve been babysitting them since the oldest was about 4. I currently watch a 2 and a half year old and a 5 months old during the week! I am planning to go to college either this fall or next spring. I also have experience in dog sitting so if you have any pets I can take care of them as well. I myself have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I do need to get re-certified in my first aide and cpr.
