A little bit about me

Hi my name is Brandee and I am a caring, kind and understanding mother of three. I started out working in the medical field right after high school and then with children. I am certified in CPR, first aid and I also have a CNA certification and Medical Assisting diploma.

My focus is giving your child/ren a safe, routine-focused, fun and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent play/time, and special weekly outings when allowed/appropriate. I am kind, understanding, but also firm when needed and I will work with you on any challenges you or your child may face.
In my personal time I love to sing, take walks, bake and cook new and fancy dishes, write poetry/songs, travel and be with my family and pets.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Both indoor and outdoor activities, weather permitting. Depends on the age but typically sitting with them doing crafts, cooking or baking together, coloring, reading, building forts, board games, playing outside, going to parks and listening to everything and anything they want to talk about!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel that the most important part about being a nanny is being reliable/punctual, keeping children safe and to build a good relationship and trust with the child and family. Someone who is genuinely caring and who communicates openly and effectively. If a family chooses you to be a nanny I mean set they are trusting you with their most precious gifts. I always listen to both the children and the family. I never want there to be any discrepancies between the parents and I as well as the children and I. I'm there to help, I will do my absolute best to make sure your children are fed, are safe, have fun and grow into the wonderful people you are raising them to be.

My experience with special needs children...

I have medical background so I am knowledgeable of any medical emergencies as well as medical needs. I also have some experience with autistic children who are level 1 or level 2 as my daughter is on the spectrum. I don't have any experience with children who are level three autistic however I'm willing to learn.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I don't have a specific favorite nanny moments because I've had so many. Every child that I have had the opportunity to take care of has had a place in my heart. They all are their own beings they have their own personalities, I've had so many memories and I can't just choose one.
