Hi! I currently volunteer at my church in the nursery and preschool rooms, and in the summer, I love being a camp counselor for the 3-5 age groups and 1st-3rd grade groups! I’ve volunteered with children since I was a child, and I have been a lifeguard for 2 years. I am CPR, and First Aid certified through Ellis & Associates, which includes many other required certifications . I have my PA Child Abuse clearances, as well as completing many safety trainings! Additionally, I will have my drivers license and a car May 1st. I have school from 7am-2:30pm on weekdays, but I am able to babysit after that, and on weekends!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a camp counselor at my church for 2 years, as well as volunteering with the newborns and toddlers at my church occasionally for the last 2 years. I have also babysat for 2 twin boys (from age 2-6) for 2+ years! I occasionally babysit my 3 month old cousin, and i have babysat solo for 5+ kids at the same time, and handled it quite easily!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love swimming, playing games and sports, and playing with animals!

My experience with special needs children...

I occasionally help out with my mothers special needs students, with various disabilities, such as autism, down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. at the church i volunteer at, i care for a toddler with down syndrome, who’s completely nonverbal. She only communicates through sign language, which i grew up using, so i’m able to efficiently communicate with her.
