A little bit about me

Hi i’m Bria, and I have over 3 years of paid childcare experience, starting when I was 16. I’ve always felt a natural knack for working with kids, and I truly enjoy teaching them. Children tend to gravitate toward me too, I’ve often been the “favorite teacher,” which I think is partly because I’m still young and can relate to them in ways that make them feel understood and comfortable. I’ve worked with a wide range of age groups—from babies and toddlers to elementary-aged kids—and have been trained in safety and proper handling of young children. I’ve supported kids with special needs and learning difficulties, helping them with reading, writing, and math in both one-on-one and classroom settings. I spent two years teaching at an academy and also volunteered as an assistant teacher for 1st through 5th graders, especially in reading and writing classes. Above all, I’m passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment where every child feels safe, seen, and excited to learn.
