I’ve worked at a daycare from 2019 to January of this year. I get hands on experience with multiple children of all ages in my school due to my early education in which I take for my highschool classes. Along with babysitting children part time and taking care of family members growing up.

I have this big kit I made a couple years back of arts and crafts to do with my kiddos that I get supplies for every few weeks. I love bringing new projects to do with them. None of which are to messy and easy to clean up. I also love bringing them outside as much as possible to the park, walks etc.

I think the most important part of any child care is having patience, getting to know the child, Nurturing and just being able to connect on a deep level, build a safe space. Creating a loving relationship. Along with being communicative, trustworthy and reliable.
