The most important part about being a nanny...
Making the parents lives easier. My goal is to make sure the parents can fulfill their daily work/goals, while not having to stress about their kids. I think being a nanny should require you to build such a strong relationship with the children, that they see you as a best friend. Nanny should also help keep the house in great shape (or even better!!!)
My experience with special needs children...
I was a student teacher at a special needs preschool class during my senior year of high school with roughly 15 children. My brother also has severe ADHD, OCD, and anger issues that have helped me gain experience/insight on how to handle certain situations.
The most important part about being a nanny...
While there are SO many, I would say my favorite nanny moment happened last week. Two girls gave me back-to-school clothes/supply haul! They were so excited to show me all the new stuff they got. They also let me pick out their first day of school outfit which was so sweet!
