I have been a babysitter for 4 years. When I turned 17 I began working for an elementary school in the afterschool and summer program for 2 and a half years! I also have recently nannied for a family with a young son.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was on my first job as a nanny carrying for my neighbor's newborn son who also had 2 other children a boy and a girl. The little girl I had been taking care of for some years now would always call me her best friend. But when the baby came she asked me if we would still be best friends now that I had her brother to take care of. I told her always and she was so happy she gave me the biggest hug. I will always remember that, it taught me that it is important to make every child I care for feel uniquely special tome.
