My name is Brianna, and I am a high school student who is 17 years old. I focused on childcare development my entire 4 years in high school and took a college course to earn my CDA. I have more than 5 years of practical experience working with kids. I began watching children in my family at the age of 10. During my freshman & junior years of high school, I began to receive experience working with children in the school's daycare who ranged in age from 6mo. to 4 years old. I'm now finishing my CDA exam hours at Starting Points of Hudson County as a senior in high school. Since I was a child, working with children has always sparked my passion. Growing up, I was surrounded by many educators who encouraged me to pursue my passion. I have always been able to develop strong bonds and effective communication abilities with them. I am most thrilled when I can apply my creative skills to kids.

My experience with special needs children...

My mom works for St. Joesph's School for the Blind which I often would visit. Before my mom got promoted to the vice principal I would sit and observe the way she taught her class and on Bring Your Child to Work days I would assist her in teaching the class. I also have a 11 years old brother who is visually impaired.
