my most recent nanny job was taking care of my old primary children care doctor. She reached out to me looking for someone she trusts to take care of her 3 kids. I worked for her for about a year until I needed time to focus on my studies.

I really love to do creative things with kids! Im a musician so I love to play music for kids as well as outdoor activities or making some fun art!
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important thing about being a nanny is to really understand children. Whether that being understanding their creative imagination or being patient with them. I think patience is highly important because kids are still learning how to communicate! sometimes a kid will cry because they don't understand how to communicate their needs with you. So to me its very important to try to hear them out and redirect their frustrations.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Actually have two favorite moments I would like to share! one small moment I definitely remember was when the 3 kids I was taking care of couldn't decide on where to go eat. They started to bicker so I decided to lighten the mood and have them play rock paper scissors for who will decide. It was a small but very fun moment. Secondly the youngest of the 3 was in dance. She was frustrated with her mom because she "wasn't doing her makeup right" so I ended up doing her makeup for her dance recital and was so happy to see how confident and excited she was to prefore and that I was able to be there to help her.
