A little bit about me

I have been caring for children for the past 18 years. During that time I stayed home with my own kids, spent three years as a preschool teacher's assistant in a class of 4-year-olds, and have nannied for 3 different families with children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 8 years old. Both of my children are older and I would love to find a way to share the same attention and care that I gave to my own children to other kiddos while their parent(s) are at work. I recently finished caring for the same child since he was 6 weeks old. He is now 5 and starts school this fall- I will miss him!

I am looking to connect with families that need care as few as 3 days/week or more. Additionally I can also be available as a night nanny for new parents.

The most important part about being a nanny...

As a mom myself, the most important part of being a nanny to me is treating kids with the same love and respect I would expect from someone caring for my own child. I enjoy keeping kids engaged with the world around them. For older kids, I like working on communication. I love seeing kids learn to discover new things and to learn to self-regulate when they are having big feelings. It’s important to me to help kids find their own way through the world.
