One particularly windy day, walking in Crown Heights, the little boy said "ewww there's poop and trash everywhere". He kept dodging bits of debris saying "ew" . I said, "ooo but look! theres no poop there! or there! or there!" and suddenly we started skipping around the trash noticing only the clean parts of our path. It was such a perspective shift for both of us.
