A little bit about me

Most kids call me B! I am a mom to an amazing boy named Noah. I have nannied since I was 14 (so a long time 😄). I worked over 6 years in a 5 star Christian preschool as the lead teacher in the infant & toddler rooms. Currently, I am a SAHM & I would love to help a family with childcare. We recently made the decision to homeschool our son. He will be 12 next month and is very self- sufficient in his studies. He is also wonderful with kids (he loves babies especially). I originally made this profile when he was in school but I would still love to help a family if we would fit your needs. He does go to school Tues./Thurs. Quality time - the activities would depend on their age but I just think giving a child of any age your undivided attention and watching them enjoy having someone meet them at their level and take interest in what interests them is precious and important for them developmentally.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Giving parents peace of mind. I don’t think there is one part of being a nanny that out weighs another. Everything you do is important from the safety to the education to the fun to the love and security. But if as a whole you can provide a family with the relief knowing their child is going to be protected, loved and put first that is most important. Of all the things I have ever done, trusting someone with my own child was the most stressful.

My experience with special needs children...

My best friends daughter has Down syndrome and my mother in law is the lead speech language pathologist in TN. I have had the privilege of learning a lot from both of these women.
