More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I currently take care of and teach the children from ages 4-13 at my Church during Service; I also have experience taking care of my youngest siblings, they are currently 11 and 12, although i’ve helped taken care of them since babies.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Indoor activities I enjoy doing with children are activities such as coloring, playing with lego sets or any toys, reading them books, playing calm games such as Simon Says, or freeze dance. Outdoor activities would include exploring the surroundings like the plants and flowers, a little exercise in a fun way like tag, or child hood games of that nature, Jump roping, etc. Sometimes we play fun interactive games on my phone as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Safety is always the number one important thing. But just getting to simultaneously take care of a child and making sure their needs are being met but also being able to teach them things they’d learn in life while having fun as well is important. Everything they learn and experience as a kid shapes them into who they will become as an adult and I just believe it’s important to be someone who positively impacted their life while helping out their parents as well.

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have much experience although back when i was in school, i did follow around and help a little with my teacher who taught a special needs class.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Laughing about the tik tok challenges they learned and wanted to show me. It was hilarious seeing them do the little dances.

But one of my favorites moments are when they run up to me and hug me with a huge smile on their face saying “kayleeee ! i miss youu, when are you going to be our teacher again?” (In regards to me taking care of them during Sunday Service) It just absolutely warms my heart to know that they care and love me so much
