A little bit about me

My name is Brooke Beardslee; I'm a stay-at-home-mommy, wife, and student studying Psychology. Activities I like to do in my free time involve lots of creativity. I create texture boards and games for my daughter, I draw, and I love to sing and dance. I also enjoy time outside just on our patio swing, or taking a stroll through the neighborhood for some fresh air.
I've been working in childcare almost my whole life. Growing up, my mom worked at a daycare, and when I werent in school, I'd be with her helping around her classroom. As I grew older, I'd help out in every classroom, and I'd help my mom's boss with changing decorations around the center for the changing seasons and holidays. My mom's boss would say I was an "off-the-books-volunteer". I also babysat for family and family friends during this time, giving me experience with children whose ages ranged from 6 weeks-11 years.
After turning 18, I applied at the same daycare and worked in the three-year-old room as a teachers aid.
