I have over a year of formal experience as a nanny for a one-year-old child, providing full-time care and support in a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve been deeply involved in caregiving throughout my life, helping raise my older sister’s two children from birth and supporting close friends as they’ve started their own families.
Earlier in my 20s, I also cared for a three-year-old child with special needs for one year. This role included managing a feeding tube schedule, administering medications, and providing attentive, compassionate care tailored to her unique needs.
Having grown up around children, I’ve developed a natural ability to connect with them and understand their emotional and developmental needs. The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my most cherished moments as a nanny was the first time the little girl I cared for said my name. We had spent so much time together building trust and a strong bond, and hearing her say my name with excitement and recognition truly melted my heart. It made me realize just how impactful consistent, loving care can be in a child’s life. Moments like that are why I love being a nanny.
