A little bit about me

Hi there! My name is Brooke and here's some things you should know about me. I graduated High School back in May of 2023 and will be attending MACU in January.

Ever since I was little, I've always wanted to be a babysitter / nanny. I love working with kids and I've even been told by a few kiddos in the past that I'm a blast to be around.

I have been working with children since I was about 15. My parents and I had a family friend who has a son. From the time he was a newborn until the age of three, I would help look after him from time to time.

I would help with feedings, bath time, changing, play time, baths, and even bed time. I was able to get CPR certified during my senior years of High School.

When I'm not babysitting, I enjoy:
- reading
- writing
- playing sports
- watching movies & TV shows
- listening to music
- Arts & Crafts.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Over the summer, I did a summer internship with my church and this included going out to apartment complex's and working with children.

I also used to work with special needs children when I was in elementary school.

I'm getting ready to start working in children's church at my church. Some things I'll be doing include:
- Looking after the kids
- helping with play time
- helping with story time
- helping with snack time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me about being a nanny is making sure the kids are happy and are having a blast. It's also very important to make sure the kids are safe at any and all times.

My experience with special needs children...

When I was in 6th grade, I would occassionally help out with the special needs kids. I also have a college youth pastor who's oldest child has special needs and I absolutely adore her.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment is when I got to babysit my friend's two-year-old son. We had such a blast together. We watched cartoons, played sports, did some Arts & Crafts, and even baked some cookies for his mom.
