A little bit about me

Hi I’m Brooklyn. I’m 24 years old. I feel like I’m one of those old souls. My dad has 10 siblings so I grew up around a huge family! I love every single one of my cousins (all 76 of them!). I have no experience being a nanny but I have had numerous children to be around growing up. My family was always taking care of each other. Some needs somewhere to stay the night, come to my house. Summer time we would always be around each other every year, I was mainly apart of the middle cousin crew you could say! All my other cousins except for a few were always older than me or younger than me. Don’t get me started on my 2nd & 3rd cousins!!! I enjoy kids, I want to have my own one day. I’ve always wanted to try the nanny job out. Just don’t really know where to start, anyways I’m me and I would describe myself as clean, organized, pays attention to detail, disciplined, responsible, hard working. I do my best with anything that’s put in front of me.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I used to be a Janitor when I lived in Blanchard. I worked at the elementary school and then after 3 months I switched over to the elementary school for 5 more months until I had to move back to OKC. The kids there were so adorable. Even the middle schoolers, they were cool!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Me, I LOVE coloring. One of my favorite things. I like playing hide and seek. I like watching Disney movies, Nickelodeon, I’m a huge fan of SpongeBob! I like playing board games, I like all games really.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel like would be to always be paying attention to them like they’re your own. Never leave them alone or let them out of your sight. Always keep in touch with the parents.
