Hi! I’m Brooklynn, a student at BYU studying Business Management with plans to pursue a career in project management. I’m a very active person who enjoys staying busy and working on meaningful projects. I love running and spending time outdoors. I’m the oldest in my family, and my youngest brother is 6 years old, so I’ve had lots of experience caring for and engaging with children.

I served an 18-month church mission in the Philippines and also spent three months in Uganda teaching English, which helped me develop strong communication and adaptability skills.

I have several years of experience working with children, including extensive babysitting, nannying, mentoring children with special needs, and working as a Registered Behavior Technician supporting children with autism. I am reliable, proactive, and patient, and I love planning fun, engaging activities that help children learn and grow.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked as a Registered Behavior Technician at Catalyst Behavior Solutions, where I assisted children with autism and other disabilities in preparing to enter school. In this role, I implemented ABA plans, collected and analyzed data, and helped manage challenging behaviors while providing patience, empathy, and clear communication.

I have also mentored children with autism and Down syndrome, teaching and modeling important life skills such as using public transportation, shopping, cooking, and self-care.

Additionally, I have experience teaching children from international backgrounds in Uganda and the Philippines, which has strengthened my adaptability and communication skills.

I have several years of experience nannying and babysitting for neighbors and family members. I also have a younger brother who is six years old, and we are best friends and do everything together!

I love having fun with the kids and will always come with a plan! Whether its crafts, creative games (indoor or outdoor), exploring the outdoors, sports or dance parties. I try to create a balance of fun and learning while making sure they feel happy and engaged.
