A little bit about me

Hi all! My name is Brooklynn. I’m 25 years old with 8 years of childcare experience most of it being in nannying and house management! I am looking for a full time position where I can bring my daughter who is 16 months along with me. I have brought her along to my last two positions and it has worked out great! Both positions had a child her age so it was really cool seeing how much they loved to play and learn from each other. My current position is just a bit of a drive since moving into my new house so I’m looking for something a bit closer.
I am CPR/first aid certified. I have experience in sleep training, potty training, special needs care, driving little ones, meal prep, education, etc. I’ve honestly done it all!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in multiple types of school settings (Montessori, ESE, daycares, etc) and worked as a nanny for multiple families.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Any outdoor activities! Going on walks, to the park, aquariums/zoos, museums, etc..
As for indoor, I’m a big reader! I also love cooking/baking and arts and crafts.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love watching the kids grow and reach all the different milestones, but I also love being a families “calm”. I am more than a nanny. I am a best friend, a shoulder to cry on, a warm hug, a parents helper, and anything else you can think of. I love what I do and I do it well.

My experience with special needs children...

I have nannied for a family with a 2 year old boy who was diagnosed with autism and Process sensory. I also worked at an autism center in a classroom setting with children aged 9-11 years old.
I recently got my RBT (Registered Behavioral Tech) certification.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When my first nanny kid told me he loved and that I was his best friend 💗 years later I am still in that family’s life and attend a bunch of the children’s sport games, celebrate birthdays and holidays with them 💗
