A little bit about me

Hello I’m Bruna,
I’m 27 and I’m a nanny with almost 4 years experience with kids all ages from newborn to 10. I worked for 2 families prior to my current one. I have been working with this family for a year and before moving to the US I was an English teacher for toddlers in Brazil.

I live in Chelsea, very close to the airport T station. I live with my husband who works as an engineer. I am loving, caring, fun, focused, patient and organized. I love pets and I’m comfortable around them. I’m looking for a new nanny position because my last gig was 45h a week caring for 2 kids (2yo and 4yo).

They initially needed me for longer than they need now so we agreed it would be best for both parts to start fresh. I really am grateful for the time we worked together and I love the kids very much. They’re amazing people and we have a very open and great communication.

Being someone the kids can trust! For me it’s very important that we bond and the child feels safe around me! I always want them to be able to feel like they have a safe space! They need attention and to be heard, they need someone who’s there for them no matter what!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Many moments are so sweet and important during the time we spend together. I remember one of the kids I cared for missed me when we decided to part ways because he was going to school full time. He made me a bracelet at school and brought it home saying he missed ‘his brina’.
