The most important part about being a nanny...
What’s important about being a nanny is always making sure the children are safe and entertained, or even doing chores/hw that the parents may require. But, aside from that note it’s always important to make sure the children and happy with you as a nanny and feel comfortable enough around you, if there ever was an emergency! You want to listen and be fair to all children (if there is multiple)! That’s just some basics! Of course there are many more!
My experience with special needs children...
I have only cared for one special needs child and it was for a short period of time. She was on the lower end of the spectrum. I’d be willing to learn if you are willing to teach!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love when it’s a holiday like Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day, and I sit down with the children and make crafts or cards. Specifically for maybe a parent, grandparent, teacher, etc. it’s amazing to see the smiles on thier faces when they are proud of their work!
