Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some activties I like to do inside with kids is watch tv for the amount of time that the parent allow( I make the kids take breaks away from electronics to do other things), I also like to bake and make contraptions with them, also make build things, build a pillow and blanket fort and play other games and with babies and little kids ask the parents the actives they are allowed to do, outside if there is room I would take them on walks,play tag with them, do gymnastics if there is a grass area , jump on the trampoline if you have one, I also let kids use their imagination and will play a whole bunch of games with them and do other things with them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being responsible and safe with the kids and always putting them first.Also never putting them in a a dangerous situation and never putting them down and always trying to come up with new ideas for them if they are trying to make a bad desions and also giving them respect and hugs if comfortable with it.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for a family that had a kid who was dyslexic and multiple families where their kids had ADHD and also a family where there kid had seizure. Also have taken care of multiple kids who have had Autism.
The most important part about being a nanny...
my favorite funny/happy moment is when I babysat some of are friends kids and me and them dressed up in princess dresses and in life dresses and had a nerf gun war and when I also let them color all over my face and arms when they didn't have any paper but at least when they left I could wash it off. Also a calming moment was also babysitting another friends kid and getting to make slime with her and getting to use aqua beads.
