Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have babysat neighbors children from under 1 up to 6. I also spent a few weeks with my aunt after she had my cousin after she was born. I bathed her, changed her, fed her, played with her, read with her, and put her to sleep. I also helped my aunt right she had her son for a little, so she could sleep. Her daughter was 2 and her son a new born. Yes there were some hiccups I’m not going to lie because of jealousy. I handled those situations when they would happen. I would have a calm conversation with them and ask them if they would like to read a book or 5, watch a movie, something that we could all do together, to show both children attention and loved.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Park, reading books, dance party, movie time, playing with their favorite toys, crafts, yard games that are for all young ages.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Very intended, interactive, Caring, understanding, patient, loving. Those are the characteristics I think are some of the most important things about a nanny. Its kids and dogs world we live in they are the purest things and all the attention and love we have should go to them.
My experience with special needs children...
In middle school I helped take care of the special needs children that attend my school. I needed to pick and elective and the second I found out that I could help people let alone kids I knew I wanted to sign up for that program. I take care of people, if I can help or make a small impact or even a good moment of the day it warms my heart and makes me want to do it over and over again.
