I am a EMT and firefighter so I have been around a lot of children. I volunteered at church to babysit during services and teach the kids. Usually being in charge with 10 or so at a time from all different ages.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being outside so if you’re okay with us taking walks to the park, riding bikes, playing sports and doing learning activities with nature a lot of time would be spent doing that. My daughter is at a learning age herself so I’ve created a lot of activities for her curriculum. And know it wouldn’t be a problem to do the same for your child or follow one you already have set for them.
My experience with special needs children...
My two nephews are autistic(low functioning) as well as my brother(high functioning). I grew up having to learn ways to communicate and teach in a way that they benefited from it and it didn’t cross boundaries. My whole life was like this from the time I was 4yo so I’ve always been mindful and I’ve learned to listen and observe so I can learn exactly what they would need from me.
