Hi there! My name is Cara & I absolutely love to work with children! I have been a nanny & full time preschool teacher (toddler/2s) over the last 4 years. I am cpr/first aid/ aed certified in all age groups and take regular seminars to enhance my knowledge with early childhood education. I have an associates degree in early childhood education and am currently a Rutgers student in their 5 year program to obtain a bachelors and masters degree in childhood studies. I have had many children over the past four years with special needs that I have catered to. I also have taken courses on special needs topics & am working toward my license in special education k-12 at school (Rutgers)

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love to develop a secure connection with the children I have cared for! One of my favorite memories with the young boys I nannied for was really just watching them learn on the day-to-day. I felt so special to have raised them from the ground up, to be the one who potty trained them, got them fed, brought them to school/camp etc! Such a special job to have!
