A little bit about me

My name is Carla and I am offering childcare services. I am a reliable, organized, punctual, respectful, educated, and responsible caregiver with 20 years of experience in childcare.
I am currently employed by an awesome family, I have been with them for the last 14 years. I started as their nanny/pet/house sitter and now I’m the household manager.

I am fluent in English and Spanish. I enjoy swimming, yoga, hiking, walks, knitting and crocheting, music, art, museums and cooking. I am finishing my BA in sociology and political science this year.

I have time available from Thursdays to Mondays (most weeks) and I am looking to fill those hours and earn a little extra money by doing some occasional baby/ house/pet sitting during my off hours. I have worked as a day care aide. I have also done vast volunteer work with high school age children by creating, organizing and directing leadership opportunities for young people. I’ve work as a youth director as well.

I love doing arts and crafts and science experiments! I am also fond of spontaneous dance parties or setting up a show performance.
I love going to the park, on walking adventures, museums, picnics and the outdoors in general.

When I helped my current boss set up her son’s bar mitzvah. She gave a speech during the kiddish and she included me, thanking me for all the years of work co-parenting with them. It was extremely moving, loving, and thoughtful and it showed me just how rewarding it can be to be a nanny to the right family.
