Hello!
My name is Cassandra, in my spare time I like to play the piano, play and hike with my husky, Lune, read or work on improving my gardening skills. I love working with kids! They bring me a lot of joy and have a way of teaching me what matters in life! I have been a preschool teacher (2 years), worked in a daycare with infants (2 years), worked in group homes with ages 2 months to 18 years (7 years) as a one on one for children with special needs at an elementary school (1 year) and as a behavior interventionist for children ages 7-18 years with mental health and behavioral challenges (4 years). I am kind, empathetic and engaged and take time to genuinely know the kids I work with. I am encouraging and will speak to their strengths! I believe behaviors come from unmet needs and will seek to understand and meet the need. I am open to hearing areas where I need to grow and thrive with clear expectations!
