The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is going above and beyond to serve the family you are a part of. With the last family I nannied for, I was able to be a part of one of the children's second birthdays, where I made him a shirt and did a photoshoot for him to give the photos to his parents. This was one of many ways that I took initiative to serve the family in unique ways, being a blessing to them more than just serving my work hours. I also served the family by helping them cook, pack their house to move, and many other things. It is extremely important for a nanny to be a dependable part of the family and always be looking to serve where they can.

My experience with special needs children...

I was the Public Relations Director for National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association, which served the special needs community in many ways. I participated in serving special needs children such as Conductive Education Center of Orlando, Special Olympics, and many others. I was also a Speech Pathologist intern at Windermere Speech Therapy for two years where I lead sessions and assessments with many special needs children.
