A little bit about me

I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I have experience working with children with special needs. I've worked with infants, toddlers, elementary ages, and preteen ages.
Fluent in English and I know some Spanish and Mandarin.
I worked as a Teacher in a preschool/after school program for a year in 2017, where I taught and nurtured 30 5-12 year olds from 2-6 Mon-Fri; and in toddler infant rooms as support from 7-2 Mon-Fri.
I graduated from a year of service with Americorps non-profit City Year in 2018. I worked in a 3rd grade classroom at a title one school where over 63 languages were spoken and 95% of children qualified for free/reduced lunch.
I have lots of experience tutoring with homework and counseling. I'm experienced with children who need specialized care and children who have been through trauma.
I'm artistic, creative, and I love to do projects outdoors with the kids. I'm good at listening to instruction and directions. I keep a clean house and can meal prep.
