A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Catherine, but you can call me Cate :)

I first began babysitting when I was about 11 years old. Since then, I have had the pleasure of caring for children of all ages, from newborn to early high school.

My employment history includes a job as a Patient Care Assistant, a role which effectively elimated my gag reflex; that is to say, I am no stranger to changing dirty diapers or to cleaning up bodily fluids.

I am Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED certified, and I also hold a BLS Provider certification. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Mathematics. With a background in tutoring, I enjoy reading to children and helping them with their schoolwork. I enjoy cooking and don’t mind doing light housework or pet care that does not distract from childcare.

Safety is always my first priority, but I also strive to make every experience relaxed, fun, and enjoyable for the kids, too! I look forward to hearing from you! :)
