A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Celi, I’m 21. I’m from Puerto Rico but moved to Texas on 2018. I love kids, I have 2 beautiful nieces and two handsome nephews. I also love my baby cousins very much. I have taken care of children from ages 11months to 15 years and wouldn’t bother to help children with their learning daily basis, homework, care, and tasks. Would cook and do anything they need, will take care of them as my own! I know CPR and child care, I’m not certified but I have taken the class in High School, if needed papers of the class I would gladly show them. I’m going to High School right now for neonatal nurse and anesthesia. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I’m located in bandera, San Antonio. Thank you and have a great day!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

While I was in 5ft grade, I used to hand out at my grandmas house. My big cousins had three beautiful children and she was never home. I always loved to help my grandma take care of them since she was a bit tired and sometimes needed to rest. They were 11months old and 6 years old at the time and I took care of them until they were 10 years old and 16 years old. Prepared food for school and helped them with everything.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing, doing homework, watching tv, singing, abcs, talking, dancing, understanding.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me is the rewarding job, get to see children grow into the future leaders. Insuring their safety and building a strong joyful and loving bond. Being able to knowledge them and be prepare for what can go wrong, and what they can need anytime and anywhere. Kids are the future and I’m here to help!

My experience with special needs children...

My baby cousin has a hearing impediment. He is also deaf and was told he would never be able to walk and would make it alive another year. Today he is a handsome man who learned how to walk but balance and strength, even though his walking it’s not perfect he does manage to walk long distance without falling. He also learned to go to the bathroom, say yes and no, and point to things he wants or doesn’t want. He is very smart although he is deaf and mute, but he is loved and always joyful. I forever love him since he was born, through now that he is 15 years old.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love when kids ask me for help, to play with them, tell me their secrets, count on me, and trust me. The fact that they count on me for all means for me that I’m doing a good job. I love seeing parents happy about the accomplishments their child do, kids are joy to life and deserve to be heard. I’m here for them and for the parents that don’t have enough time. Life is hard and I admire the hard working parents that do anything for their kids to have it all. We are a team and I’m glad to help any time, as I have nieces and cousins I know kids get stress and sometimes they don’t tell us their problems because they are scared or just don’t know how. My baby brother (8yr) is very silent and shy, but playful and talkative with the people he selects to talk to. He is not willing to go to school and we are looking for why. But I’m always here to help him and go to the classroom with him until he feels ready to let go and say goodbye. Separation anxiety is hard. But I’m here for the kids!

Hello! My name is Valyssa and I’m 27 years old. I’m a native San Antonian and I own my own small waxing business in town. Since I have a very flexible schedule, I’m looking for part time work to help fill the gaps in my day.

I find joy in cleaning, washing and prepping the house or any meals.

As far as my experience with children, I was a cheer coach for ages 3-18 for 7 years for a non-profit organization. However, after the pandemic, life had other plans and I am thankful to own and operate my successful waxing business.
