More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I embarked on my babysitting journey at the age of 13 in the welcoming community of Forest Homes. Through this experience, I not only nurtured and cared for the children but also forged meaningful connections with the families during their vacations. The positive rapport established was evident in the fact that I consistently found myself with a well-planned summer job, as families were quick to request my services based on the enjoyable experiences their children had under my care. This not only speaks to my ability to create a fun and engaging environment for kids but also underscores the trust and satisfaction that families have placed in my childcare capabilities over the years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I'm inherently an artist at heart, and I have a knack for infusing creativity into every aspect of life. Whether it's translating ideas into expressive drawings, using vibrant colors in my paintings, creating memorable songs to aid in vocabulary retention, or even crafting foods in the shapes of beloved superheroes, I find joy in transforming ordinary moments into artistic expressions. This passion for creativity extends into my approach to various activities, making them not only enjoyable but also uniquely imaginative. I believe in harnessing the power of artistic expression to enhance experiences and engage with the world in a way that sparks curiosity and delight.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The best part about being a nanny is the profound privilege of contributing to the growth, happiness, and well-being of the children under my care. Witnessing their laughter, celebrating their achievements, and guiding them through the challenges of childhood creates a unique bond that goes beyond a job—it's a heartfelt connection. Every day brings new discoveries, imaginative adventures, and the joy of being a positive influence in their lives. The trust and affection shared between a nanny and the children create a nurturing environment where I can witness their personalities unfold, foster their curiosity, and instill values that will stay with them for a lifetime. It's a role that comes with its challenges, but the rewarding moments of knowing you've made a positive impact on a child's life make every day as a nanny truly special.
My experience with special needs children...
Recently, I received a diagnosis of being on the autism spectrum, a realization that took some time to unfold. Despite being a bright individual, I've encountered challenges in certain social interactions, which partly explains my preference for public transportation over driving. This personal revelation has been instrumental in understanding myself better and navigating the intricacies of social dynamics.
Growing up, I had the unique advantage of having my mom, a Special Education (SPED) assistant, as my guide. Her unwavering support and insightful guidance provided me with an environment where being on the spectrum didn't feel like a limitation but rather an extraordinary facet of my identity. Instead of viewing it as a disability, I learned to embrace it as a superpower—one that unlocked my most creative and unique qualities.

The most important part about being a nanny...
. I was tasked with watching over two energetic siblings, a precocious seven-year-old named Lily and her mischievous little brother, Max, who was four. One sunny afternoon, Lily decided to embark on a mission to teach Max the art of hide-and-seek. As Lily counted down with exaggerated enthusiasm, Max scampered away to find the perfect hiding spot. After a few moments, Lily dramatically announced, "Ready or not, here I come!"What ensued was a comical game of hide-and-seek where Max's definition of hiding was quite unconventional. The first round found him attempting to camouflage himself by blending into a colorful pile of stuffed animals. Lily, pretending to be fooled, exclaimed, "Where could Max be? I just don't see him anywhere!"
