A little bit about us…

Our nanny’s expected to feed, bathe, read to, play with, & put our daughter, Olivia, to sleep. If needed, wash her clothes, & clean up after Olivia.

Olivia’s very sharp & curious. We’ve protected her as much as we can, but we expect her nanny to be attentive & watch her. She’ll get in to whatever she can get into. She’s been attempting to climb/repel out of her playpen, but thankfully hasn’t succeeded yet. Olivia’s on a schedule. She eats every 2.5 to 3 hours & sleeps for 20 to 30 minutes at a clip between meals. The more she plays the more she does tire out & the easier it is to put her to sleep.

Our ideal nanny would be paid $16/hour to watch an 8-month old baby (as of Dec 2023). The shifts will be 10 hours from 6:30am-4:30pm on Monday & Wednesday, which would be 20 hours/week. If we like our nanny, we may need our nanny for more days during the week.

Rare occasion:
For work, I travel every March, June, September and December. Typically, her dad is home so her nanny should be able to watch her in our home during those times, but in the event, he also has to travel at the same time. Our ideal nanny should be able to travel without restrictions. Also, if they can travel, they’re expected to already own a passport. It won’t be our responsibility.

In this unlikely event, we would implement a traveling work contract. This discusses what’s included as part of travel, & what’s considered working or non-working hours. The rate is still $16/hour. Although we’ll be traveling, our nanny would have off hours to explore, but during their shifts they are expected to be “fit for duty” (meaning don’t be impaired) or be on time. If I’m late because they’re late or cannot attend my meeting, I will terminate employment immediately & book them on the next flight out. The cost of their early return home will be deducted from their last pay. All in all, I expect our nanny to have fun, explore, but be responsible on these trips & not compromise my ability to perform my best work.

A little bit about us…

I'm a mom of 3 who needs help caring for two energetic kids and a troublemaking 9 month old. I mainly need someone to play Barbie's/crafts with my daughter and follow my 9 month old around while I do my housework. My 11 year old is pretty self sufficient and mostly keeps to himself. We are a very laid-back family of 5. We enjoy getting outside and getting the kids' energy out but are also content to lounge about at home, so we need someone who can keep up with them. My daughter has ASD and is on the spectrum and my son has ADHD so we would prefer someone who has experience with special needs children. My older kids also have celiac disease and we basically have my youngest on the same diet as well, they all eat only gluten-free so proper food handling knowledge is required. We're looking for someone 3-4 days a week from about either 9:00am-1:00pm or 2:00pm-6:00pm and an occasional date night maybe once or twice a month. Hours may be extended when the school year returns. Our daughter will be starting ABA therapy in July so we may need drop off/pick up help. Our eleven year old does baseball in the winter so we may need someone to go with him to practices, but that will be determined later when baseball season returns. We are looking hopefully for a long-term nanny. Because of my daughters autism, she does not do well with change so we’d really like to find someone who is consistent.
We will check references and do a background check. Hope to find a good fit for our family :)
