More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
One of my favorite parts of caring for children is seeing their excitement when they learn or accomplish something new. Whether it is finishing a drawing they are proud of, learning a new skill, or solving a problem during playtime, those moments are very rewarding.
I especially enjoy when children feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, stories, and creativity. Being able to encourage them and watch their confidence grow is one of the most meaningful parts of being a caregiver.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoy activities that encourage children to learn through play. I love arts and crafts, reading together, creative play, building with blocks, puzzles, and imaginative storytelling. These activities help children learn while having fun and expressing their creativity.
I also enjoy outdoor activities like playing outside, going to the park, taking walks, and helping kids stay active. I believe spending time outside is important for children’s development and curiosity.
Having grown up in a daycare environment, I’m used to planning activities that keep kids engaged, learning, and having fun at the same time.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. Children thrive when they feel secure, understood, and encouraged.
Trust and communication with parents are also extremely important. Families are trusting you with the most important people in their lives, so being dependable, responsible, and attentive matters greatly.
My goal is always to support the family while helping children feel confident, happy, and safe.

My experience with special needs children...
Through my work in my mom’s family daycare, I had the opportunity to interact with children with a wide range of personalities, learning styles, and developmental needs. I also have some experience supporting children with mild to moderate autism and understanding how important patience, structure, and clear communication can be.
I have volunteered with Best Buddies, where I gained exposure to individuals with Down syndrome and learned the importance of creating inclusive and supportive environments for everyone.
In addition, I have helped support my younger sister as she navigated her own learning challenges while growing up. That experience taught me a lot about patience, encouragement, and meeting children where they are in their development.
Overall, I focus on creating a calm, supportive environment where every child feels safe, understood, and encouraged to grow.
