I love everything involved with watching children grow up. I enjoy arts & crafts, listening and dancing to music, going on nature walks, taking educational field trips, and playing at the park, are some of my favorite activities. Taking my nanny charges on adventures to the zoo, museums, and other fun outings have been some of my best experiences.
My charges and I have especially enjoyed reading together. Seeing their eyes light up when you sit down with them and their favorite book, or going to the library to pick out something new, or sit to listen to story hour, is one of the best feelings imaginable.
I cherish the quiet cuddling time that I get to have with newborns, sitting and rocking them to sleep and singing them a lullaby is a very peaceful and centering activity.
Arranging playdates for the kids I care for is both fun and educational; watching them as they learn how to interact socially, with my help, is a wonderful treasure.
