More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy engaging children in activities that are fun, creative, and developmentally supportive. Some of my favorite things to do include:
Arts and crafts like painting, coloring, and simple DIY projects that let kids express themselves.
Outdoor play, whether it’s going to the park, nature walks, sidewalk chalk, or playing games in the yard.
Reading together, using stories to build imagination, language skills, and calm moments.
Sensory activities, such as play-dough, water play, textures, and hands-on exploration—especially helpful for kids who benefit from sensory regulation.
Structured learning activities, like puzzles, matching games, or early academic tasks that make learning fun.
Pretend play, which helps with creativity and emotional expression.
Helping with routines, such as baking simple recipes, practicing independence skills, or doing small chores together in a playful way.

My experience with special needs children...
I have meaningful hands-on experience working with children with special needs, especially from my time at a children's clinic, where I supported kids with a wide range of developmental, behavioral, and sensory needs. Through this role, I gained experience using positive behavior strategies, supporting emotional regulation, and adapting activities to meet each child’s unique abilities. I learned how to create structured yet flexible environments, communicate clearly, and build trust with children who benefit from extra patience and consistency.
This experience has strengthened my confidence in supporting children with autism, sensory processing differences, developmental delays, and other diverse needs. It has also shaped my passion for pursuing a career in Occupational Therapy, where I can continue helping children grow, learn, and feel supported in meaningful, individualized ways.
