Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am a single mom and have raised my boys, who are age 17 and 15. Before I had my children, I was a nanny for 2 kids, that were infants when I started working with them. Once those kids were in school, I started working for another family that had 2 kids that were 3 and 7 years old. Once the 3 year old was in school, they no longer needed a nanny. When my boys were younger, I did in home daycare for a family with 1 infant. When they had their second child, I watched both kids.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
When the weather is nice, I like to spend time with the kids outside. I like to play games and work on crafts.

Making sure the children are safe and happy. Developing a relationship/connection with the children. Having good communication with the parent(s) and providing the same level of care that they provide for their children.
My experience with special needs children...
I provided respite for a 12 year old girl that was mentally disabled. I continued to do respite with her for 30 years.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Kids can say the funniest things. I enjoy engaging the kids in conversations and hearing them laugh. I enjoy working with infants, they change so fast within the first year of life.
