A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Chelsea. From an early age I knew I wanted to be a teacher, but it wasn't until 2016 and a little encouragement from dad, that I officially would make up my mind on what I wanted to go to college for. Then in 2019, I graduated with an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. While in college and for a few years after I graduated I worked in a Before and After School and Summer School-Age Program through my local YMCA for about 5 years and my last 2 years at the YMCA I worked as a Co-Site Director or Site Director in those programs at multiple locations. Since leaving that childcare job I worked a few other jobs like customer service and retail, but I have always found myself gravitating back to childcare. I love talking to the children and hearing about how their day was, helping them with any homework, or doing fun arts and crafts activities.
