Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a paid teacher for three years. I began teaching right after I graduated college up until this previous school year. Beforehand, I volunteered in a preschool classroom my junior and senior years of high school. Throughout college I had a lot of experience with tutoring, volunteering in classrooms and field experiences. I have also babysat my niece from when she was a newborn to present day (she is currently 7 years old). As well as babysitting for friends and family.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love crafts! They can get messy but they sure are fun. The cleaning up aspect of crafts can be a great learning opportunity for children as well. I love reading stories and coming up with stories while I am working with children. I enjoy trips to the park and the occasional ice cream treats afterwards! I am also a firm believer that school work is important. I am more than happy to assist with homework as well!
