A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Chelsie, 26 Female, and for as long as I can remember, I've always been a caretaker of children. I originally started as a nanny as a teenager, and after going through college, I decided to pick it back up.

I love working with children and have always done well with them because I come from a family of 8 total! (I know, crazy right). However, I feel as though that's helped me be prepared for caring for multiple children at a time.

I work with all age ranges. I also love arts/crafts, painting, music, outdoor activities: swimming, sports, and the gym! I also love to cook! I have a God daughter who is an infant, that I occasionally take care of when Mom & Dad need a break!

I'm super easy to get to know and have a bubbly personality. When nannying for my friends, family, or even strangers, I make sure that it is my job to nurture, love, and protect children to the best of my ability!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny in my opinion, forming bonds with the children so that they trust that I can take care of them. Secondly, is being attentive to everything and everyone. We live in a scary time, and I'm extremely attentive to my own surroundings when I'm out alone, so I definitely believe when watching children, it's 1000X more attentive. I pride myself on being a protector, provider, and someone these young children look up too!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I was a nanny of a young boy, who played elementary football. I couldn't make his game that his parent's invited me too at first, so he was pretty bummed about it. Well, I ended up being able to clear my schedule for his game, and I decided not to tell him because I wanted to surprise him. He ended up scoring in his game and looked over and seen me with his parents cheering him on! The look on his face, let me know that he was so happy everyone he wanted there was there to support him. I felt like family to him that day.
