Hello!

My name is Cheye-Anne
I recently moved back to North Miami after working at a residential treatment facility in North Dakota for kids under 18 as the Wellness Coordinator. I played college volleyball and I currently coach volleyball, volunteer at animal shelters, and spend time at the beach in my free time.
I have been working with kids since I was old enough to baby sit.
I started off babysitting jobs when I was about 14... years later I nannied awesome twin girls that were 14 years old. I have experience with disabilities and separated families. I also have experience traveling with families and children for the extra help. I also have experience working overnight shifts due to odd schedules. I love working with kids and am looking for either a part time or full time (live in - if cats accepted or live out) nanny position once again as I am back in Florida now. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been caring for children Since I was a child myself.
I have done many summer camps, volleyball camps, coaching full teams ages 10-18, baby sitting. I worked with kids with special needs and high risk pasts. I love working with kids at any age.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing sports, swimming, dancing, karaoke, board games, going to the beach, etc.... I enjoy the day when the kids I am working with enjoy their day!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny to me is making sure the kids are happy, safe, and having fun!

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with austistic children, bipolar, schizophrenic, ADD/ADHD, reactive attachment, drug addiction, eating disorders, and cerebral palsy.

I have also worked with kids that have been through a lot of trauma, physical, verbal, and sexual abuse through the treatment facility.

These experiences can require a little bit more understanding and patience.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Working with kids gives you so many great moments!

I personally love the little break through moments when you are able to connect with a kid.

Working in a residential treatment facility I had the opportunity for a lot of these moments. It was not always an easy job but those moments were the ones you “put in your bank” for when they are having a tough day and it helps you to reconnect.

We do what we do for the kids and it was a special job for me.
